At Sweet Giants Maine Coons, we are dedicated to finding the perfect homes for our beloved kittens. Our process ensures that each kitten is placed in a loving, responsible environment where they will thrive. Below is an outline of the steps involved in adopting one of our beautiful Maine Coon kittens. Please follow these carefully to make the adoption process smooth and enjoyable. We are here to support you every step of the way!

Application
Start by filling out the application on our website to be considered for adoption. You can find the form here. This step helps us ensure our kittens are placed in the best possible homes.
Application Approval
Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will receive an email with detailed information on the next steps of the adoption process.
Newsletter Notification
When a new litter or kitten becomes available, we will send out a newsletter announcing the details. Keep an eye on your inbox and, as soon as you see a kitten you like, text us at 469-563-8377 to get in line.
Reservation Process
Reservations begin once the kittens have been cleared by the vet, which is typically around 8 weeks of age. After this, you will receive a contract for the chosen kitten.
Contract and Deposit
You will have 72 hours to sign the contract and make a 50% deposit of the kitten's price. This deposit secures your reservation for the kitten.
Weekly Updates
After making the deposit, you will receive weekly photos of your chosen kitten, so you can follow their growth and development
Going Home
Kittens will be ready to go to their new homes at 12 weeks old, after receiving their second round of vaccinations.
